Waiting for Supermanis the new film from the director of "An Inconvenient Truth." Riding the wave of major publicity (NBC News, Oprah, etc) the film is attracting a significant amount of interest.
However, in a 'Teacher's Town Meeting' - one teacher compared the film to the work of Leni Riefenstahl ("Triumph of the Will" - a masterpiece of Nazi propaganda).
The topic is important, but is it being dealt with honestly - or is information being manipulated and/or skewed to make the director's point?
I haven't had the opportunity to see the film yet; I intend to as soon as possible, as I am a firm believer that the educational system in this country is broken and needs to be completely redesigned.
